Family Activities:

1.) Interview a family member about moments in their lives when they've used probability to make decisions. Bring at least three examples to class. We will compile each students' examples onto a poster, showing the wide range of real-life situations in which probability can be helpful.

2.) Below you will find a fun game to play with a family member. You can access the activity by visiting

http://www.mathwire.com/seasonal/smanprob.pdf and printing it off, or your teacher will be happy to provide you with a copy to take home. Follow the instructions on the game direction sheet below. You can play the game as many times and with as many family members as you like.
